Elena Shcherbakova

BA (Psych), Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology

People come to therapy when something no longer feels right – internally or externally, often expressed as difficulties in relationships. From her experience working with people, Elena emphasizes that behind every struggle is a person striving to become a better version of themselves while trying to make sense of their emotions, experiences, and relationships.
Elena has a deep and genuine interest in understanding clients and their relationships at a meaningful level, including feelings, behaviours, and thoughts. She approaches therapy with genuine curiosity, warmth, and respect, creating a space where clients do not need to perform or arrive with all the answers.
Her role is to walk alongside clients as they gain insight, process emotions, and develop a clearer understanding of themselves. Elena believes psychotherapy is not about fixing people or relationships, but about helping clients reconnect with their better versions, uncover their strengths, remember their values, and evoke their natural capacity for change.
